Halloween is here! We bought our costumes Sunday! T’s decorated our living room with Halloween lights and I surprised him with pumpkins a couple weeks ago.
We didn’t want to carve the pumpkins this year–we’ve done it and it’s messy. Plus, we live in a high rise (so city, I know) so it’s not like we can put them on display. We therefore decided to paint them Thursday night.
Last night I also took Tim out to dinner for his birthday to a steakhouse owned by a former NFL coach so he got to eat his favorite food while watching Thursday Night Football– win-win 
Happy Birthday to the love of my life and to my dad–funny how two of my favorite and most important men share a birthday!
