As Tim heads back to Hawaii today, I’m forced once more to literally let him go.
And it makes me sad.
But with this, I’m also making the same promise I’ve made everyday of our relationship these past years-
to let go of my fears, my anxieties, my stress.
I choose positivity, optimism, and to remember the silver lining.
I will be living with him for a couple months in Hawaii.
Followed by Vegas and my move to Chicago.
Next year, he’ll join me and we’ll live together in our very own place without fears of deployments, underways, duty.
For now, though, this distance is out of our controls.
What is meant to be, which I have no doubt we are, will be.
We’ll be in each other’s arms {soon enough}.
Everything is falling into place just lovely.
