Why I Blog

  •  As an outlet because my other half is 6,000 miles away

Missing Him, “See you soon.”, Living For the Next Time We’ll See Each Other

  • To vent when I’m upset

What a Pain in the Neck!, What the ?

  • To express my happy thoughts

Triumph Tuesday, Thankful, Happy ~9008th Birthday to Me!

I started blogging when I was younger on Xanga but I don’t even remember what I said on there. Then, my high school sweetheart and I broke up my 1st year of law school. At the suggestion of a good friend, I turned to tumblr, which I still use. I recently found that I wanted a space with more mature military spouses (I feel like one of the older milso’s on tumblr) where I could express myself. So I turned to blogger while Timmy was deployed last summer. I was missing him. A. Lot. I only wrote a few posts over the last half of 2012, though. When 2013 began, I decided I’d give it another try and I am so happy I did.

I love coming here to write my thoughts and feelings and being able to connect with the amazing women whom I have connected with. Thank you all for reading & sharing your thoughts 🙂

I also love your blog 🙂 ha, I had a xanga too! It's been so long. Blogging is great to connect with so many other women in your same situation, especially if you don't know many in your area yet. I've really enjoyed getting to know you and some other gals (pretty well I think) though Im sad if we never get to meet in person! Great reasons for blogging though 🙂 Think Ill have to write this soon!
