Moments of Musing

Oh Dear!

Filed Under: distance, fitness friday, friday's letters, linkup // February 22, 2013

Dear self, keep it together. No need to have a crying fest over something (distance) you can not change.  This is the situation you knew you’d be in 2 years ago, so suck it up, girlfriend, and get strong again. We’ve only got 1/3 left of being in an LDR to go! 🙂

Dear distance, you suck. But thank you, military.com for this piece (http://www.military.com/spouse/military-life/sarah-smiley-things-to-learn-from-living-apart.html?comp=1198882887570&rank=6) because it helped to re-read it.

Dear neck, why must you have a “bunch” of bulging disks?!?! Just when I’m getting super fit, my body is taking it out on me and I don’t know what exercise routine I’ll be able to do. I am so scared I will get out of shape and gain weight but I really should take it easy before I do something irreparable to my spine. To physical therapy it is… [This is also my Fitness Friday update]

Dear sun, why are you hiding? Please come out to play. Sunny days > cloudy days.
Dear future employer, can you please hire me already?  It would make 90% of my stress and tension go away. (The Bar Exam will bring that all back … but I’ll cross that bridge when I have to.)

Dear friends, I am so excited for tomorrow night 🙂 I can’t wait to have our long-awaited girls night!!!

Dear Timmy, thank you. Thank you for being strong when I feel like everything is going wrong. I couldn’t do this without you. You are my best friend, my soul mate. I thank God for you everyday.

Hugs to you! Distance is definitely the worst part of having your love in the military…at least I think it is!

Thanks 🙂 Me too — I tried insanity but it hurt too much so I'm trying different workouts until my physical therapist tells me what I can do!
