A blizzard hit NYC this weekend and I was quite happy. I love snow–just about once a year, though. So I took the opportunity to go outside and have a little fun but only for a few minutes because the bump has to be safe and warm.
There’s something magical about snow. It reminds me of my childhood. Trekking to school in ’96 with my dad just because I wanted to go to school. Building a snowman with my mom and little brother in front of our old house. Making snow angels with my brother in the backyard of our new house.
I loved seeing all the photos of babies’ first times in the snow and couldn’t help but get excited that this time next year we’ll have our very own little snowbunny to snuggle up with.
